Read-a-thons!

I'm finally in Christmas break!!! Even though it feels like summer break was last week, it's nice to not have to worry about any school anymore. I've had the house to myself these past few days, too, so combined with break, I've had endless free time to read!

I love having what I call my "read-a-thons,"and all this free time has led to lost of these. I've probably read in every room of my house this week! Definitely caught up with any lost reading time. If 30 Rock and Mad Men weren't such distractions, I would probably not stop reading at all. I added to the post some pictures I've ended up taking. :)

Of course, though, never too much reading to skimp out on Christmas! I managed to pencil in some time this week to buy the Christmas tree for the house while everyone was out! I have to decorate it today, then do some emergency Christmas gift shopping for the fam. And...read :)

It's no surprise every dream Christmas gift of mine would have to do with books. Firstly, I would LOVE a new bookshelf, my desk is getting too crowded! Or a huge gift card to Barnes and Nobles/Amazon Bookstore would be really great :-p. Anyways, the books I bought myself for Christmas, the ones I already mentioned in a previous post, are stuck on my mind. I am so excited to start the Discworld series and to discover some new Pynchon in V.! As much as I love it, I hope I finish this never-ending book soon :-p
